Hi I am celebrating being DIFFERENT!

It is not a concern for me as I love being different.  I have to be true to myself.  Without this then I would just turn into one of the many.  I cant change myself to please other people.  They have to live their lives and I have to live mine.

I love people and am fascinated by all the different lives we all lead.  I am interested in your story.  I enjoy being surprised when I find out more about an unusual life.  I also am gladdened when I hear the passion of when people talk about what they are interested in.  It is lovely when people come out of their shells and share what is in their heart.  Everything said to me is completely confidential as I am a professional therapist.  I hope this puts all you Builders minds to rest if you have shared your love of ballroom dancing!

I am incredibly privileged to meet you and hear your joy of life.  When times are tricky then laughter is the best medicine and I guarantee that you will relax and have a laugh with me.  I am a very different mix of the intellectual, stand up comedian and meditation relaxation expert.  Did I mention that I am very hot as well?

Don’t be on the conveyor belt of life. Jump off. Jump around and have some fun!

Here comes the quotes!

“We are all born originals – why is it so many of us die copies?”

Edward Young (1683 – 1765 English Poet.)

“Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also teach them what they are?

We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another child like you. Your legs, your arms, your clever fingers, the way you move. You may become a Shakespeare, a Michelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything.

If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.”

Henry David Thoreau (July 12, 1817 – May 6, 1862) was an American author, poet, philosopher, abolitionist, naturalist, tax resister, development critic, surveyor, historian, and leading transcendentalist. He is best known for his book Walden, a reflection upon simple living in natural surroundings, and his essay Civil Disobedience, an argument for individual resistance to civil government in moral opposition to an unjust state.

I felt attracted to Mr Thoreau so decided to share a bit more about him. What a life, and what times he lived in and what a true man!

I was looking for a funny quote and Groucho Marx keeps coming to me!

“Women should be obscene and not heard.”

Groucho Marx (Look at my previous blogs if you don’t know by now who he was.)

“Her lips were saying no, but her eyes were saying, read my lips.”

Niles (Frasier one of the funniest clever shows ever.)

And from one of my favourite authors!

“An archaeologist is best husband a woman can have: the older she gets, the more interested he is in her.”

Agatha Christie (By the way she was married to one!)

That is me. I am different. I am me.
